Day One

With day one in the books, and my body being tired and sore I wanted to quickly write up my thoughts for the day. One quick note before I get into things too much. I don’t want these daily writings to get too in depth or detailed. I would like to keep them general, short and sweet. Outlining things that I have found that do or don’t work as well as generally documenting my ninety days.

So as far as the day one goes, I think it goes without saying that it was difficult. I felt generally weak and had to pause the video a few times for recovery. Not totally unexpected. An Ripper was pretty brutal as well. Expecting some serious soreness tomorrow from that alone. I had done a lot of research about this program and most said that the first week is pretty brutal. That’s okay though. I will continue to fight through and having done strength training before I know it will come in time.

I also thought that now might be a good time to talk about equipment.

So far I am operating with a pretty minimal set of equipment. I already had the pull-up bar and obviously a chair I could use, but here is my equipment set at the moment. I have linked up the products on Amazon in case you are interested in getting the same equipment i am using.

  1. Black Mountain Products Resistance Band Set
  2. Aurorae Yoga Mat
  3. ProSource Pull Up Bar
  4. Chair

I have been told that the bands can work okay in place of dumbbells. We’ll see, it’s possible I may have to invest in some sooner or later. I’ll keep you posted as things move along.
